Burgos Day 2
Saturday morning, we drove to a monastery in San Pedro, which is where el Mío Cid said good-bye to his family before leaving the country. Profesora Williams read us part of the story, and then we read a part of the actual poem (read an english version HERE)
I also made myself a daisy crown
Then we went on a tour of the monastery
There was a beautiful painting of the despedida de mío Cid
And saw a cool Gregorian hymn book
Also found a Barcelona Fútbol team bus... it may or may not have been theirs...
We went to a book museum and saw books of all sorts
Like clay tablets!
We then found a carousel which we proceeded to ride :)

Love the flower crown. And random carousels are awesome :)
