Valencia

Valencia was another beautiful city :)

We had adventures, like trying to fit into a submarine

We also visited the cathedral.

They claim to have the Holy Grail

Part of the original city walls

I thought this was pretty.

And we also had Horchata (which is COMPLETELY different from Mexican Horchata)

We also visited La Ciudad de las Artes y las ciencias which is an incredible 21st century walk of museums.  Sadly, we couldn't enter any of them :'(

But we did pretend to be dinosaurs

Yay views. :)

Valencia is also famous for its ceramics.  Not sure if you can tell, but there is beautiful ceramic on the underside of each balcony.

An original bullfight arena

The view from our window.

Paella!

Saturday morning we went to the beach.  None of my pictures really turned out well, but here are a few

Saturday night we came back to Alcalá.  Today was Stake Conference, and the stake center is right next to the temple!  I love love loved the conference.  It was so inspiring and uplifting.  This afternoon, we got to go to a question and answer fireside with Elder Bednar and Elder Kearon.  AMAZING!!

  1. Hey, if you can't go into 21st century museums, pretending to be dinosaurs is TOTALLY the next best thing. Is everyone taking off their shoes in the beach picture? haha. Is the horchata good there? And that conference sounds INCREDIBLE.
